Licious Living Pairs up with the Robert Lee YMCA for its Newest Healthy Fast Food Café

Licious Living is pleased to announce the launch of its newest healthy fast food café located in the Robert Lee YMCA in downtown Vancouver. This partnership with the YMCA is the latest venture from Vancouver based Licious Living, an innovative healthy food company, who provides healthy and delicious food to people on the run. Doors opened on May 17th to an eagerly awaiting audience of YMCA visitors and downtowners.

“Licious is all about embracing a healthy lifestyle so the partnership with the YMCA is a natural one,” says Simon Adams, VP of Major YMCA Facilities in Coastal B.C. and General Manager of the new downtown YMCA. “So many people find eating healthy a challenge during a busy day,” he says. “But Licious makes it a lot easier.”

“In addition to being a fun place to grab a healthy lunch or pick up a smoothie after working out, the Licious Café also offers meal delivery service, nutrition coaching and meal planning for YMCA members. We also chose them because they have a strong commitment to corporate social responsibility.”

“We are thrilled to be able to offer our food and services in an environment that shares our dedication to promoting healthy living, and good nutrition habits,” says Katie Rodgers, co-owner of Licious Living.

Licious meals are fresh and balanced and come labeled with the nutrient information. This locally produced grab and go food tastes great and energizes. Espresso bar features fair trade organic Ethical Bean Coffee and organic Spot Tea.

Licious Living was started in 2002 by entrepreneur Deanna Embury, focusing solely on Healthy Living and Zone diet delivery service to busy individuals who did not have time to cook. When orders started pouring in for the service in Vancouver, Katie Rodgers joined her friend and they launched the service in Toronto as well. The company has grown, now offering corporate meal service to conscientious companies that care about the health and well being of their clients and employees.
