first alaskan easter

this was our first “coldish” easter ever! you can still see a little dab of snow off by the fence but it’s melted for the most part. the jury is still out as to whether or not we’ll get any more this year… we spent a nice family day going to church and driving around looking at property and dreaming. then we came home to dye easter eggs with the girls, a favorite childhood tradition of mine. i saw in a parenting magazine recently that you could wrap rubber bands around the eggs and they will have stripes after they’re dyed. way cool!
