whoa! i just experienced my first earthquake that i’ve known about as it happened. abby and i are in the crafting room and i’m busy on my new online store at etsy.com when suddenly it felt like a super huge washing machine was totally off balance. like in a major way. it wasn’t bad enough to shake things off the desk or a shelf or anything but it was noticeable, unless you were doing step aerobics or something.  wow! another new alaska experience.

mike thinks it was cool. he thinks he missed his calling and should have been an earthquake seismologist or whoever studies those!
