nice and sweet days

i’ve been up to a lot since i last blogged. one of my favorite things to do is read. i’ve read a whole lot, in real print, not screen print. sorry bloggers.
one of my favorite quotes from the last book i read is by Anne of Avonlea when she says,

“After all, I believe the nicest and sweetest days are not those on which anything very splendid or wonderful or exciting happens but just those that bring simple little pleasures, following one another softly, like pearls slipping off a string.”

the series begins with Anne of Green Gables by Lucy M. Montgomery. i read it once as a child and here i am again. i think i enjoy it more now!

I loved that series when I was younger-and the tv show as well!!You have made me want to go find it and read it again!!!

Hey Kristy! It’s Kristin - Nick’s girlfriend. Well, I just read your blog about Anne of Avonlea and Ann of Green Gables, and those are two of my absolute favorite movies. I hope all is well in Alaska, and I hope we get to see you over the Christmas season. Abby and Lily are adorable. Michelle has been sending me pictures of them playing the snow. How precious! But take care and have a wonderful holiday season.
