sick sense

of humor, that is! i laugh a lot. mostly at inappropriate times. like the one time a friend was getting married and me and another friend sat on the back pew and couldn’t contain our laughter and the pew was shaking. or at a funeral. i know, it’s nutty. or in college when a friend ordered the new “frito burrito” at taco bell and something just struck me as funny about the way it sounded and i laughed for 10 minutes straight.

what’s scary is that i am beginning to think that i’ve passed it along to abby. we were watching backyardigans this afternoon (an episode i haven’t yet seen, wow!) and she started laughing hysterically. i was like, “what happened?” as i really wasn’t watching that closely. she could barely talk she was laughing so hard & i was backing up (thanks to dvr) the show. the backyardigans were getting bonked in the head by meteors and we were rolling. it was hilarious to hear her cackling at at it. we rewound about 6 times before we were done with our comic relief! folks always comment on how serious the child is but i’ve known all along she has a sense of humor…

I love it! :) I feel your pain :). I find even at times where the choice is laugh or cry, I choose to laugh.
