Should I pre-wash the fabric?
I bought a Kona cotton fabric to make a layer out. No doubt the intention of establishing in the washing machine once I'm done with my project, do you still need to pre-clean? I iron the fabric before starting, but I do not think it will cause a contraction ...? Also I will make a suit () gabardine suit, but that will not be released into the machine no more. It is necessary to wash anyway? I'm not a sewing machine yet, but looking to borrow. Thus, for washing, I have to wait around until it came into my hands one to zig-zag cut edges. Besides, my cotton clothes, just only the amount needed. I fear this may be reduced too much in the wash.
No pre-washing is necessary, if not completed plans to bring the suit in the washer. If you go to dry cleaning, can occur, but normally if you go to bleach after construction is pre-washed or dry cleaned before the fabrics before cutting them. Ironing by itself does not normally shrink cotton fabric. If you do not worry about it after suit port, then it has nothing pre-wash.
